Visitors to West Cork Model Railway Village can step back in time. This miniature world recreates Ireland in the 1940s at 1:24 scale. Four model villages - Clonakilty Kinsale, Bandon Dunmanway - are served by a model railway. It’s a lovingly created replica of the old West Cork line. All the models are accurate miniatures, made by skilled modelmakers after painstaking research. Other attractions include a children’s playroom and the Tschu Tschu road train, which tours Clonakilty.
