Waterford Heritage Museum houses one of Ireland’s best collections of decorated royal charters and civic regalia. Other exhibits include artefacts left by successive invaders, including the Vikings and the Normans, many dug up during recent excavations of the city centre. A reconstruction of the city centre, complete with wall displays and models, and an amusing mock newscast of the Seige of Waterford are probably the Museum’s highlights of this very moden museum.
