Waterford County Museum was founded to preserve and present the history of West Waterford and Dungarvan. Collections include trophies, military items, cameras and a coin collection. There’s also an impressive photos and film collection. Highlights include the Broderick Film Collection, a rare film of the Moresby Disaster, and postcards of Dungarvan at the turn of the century. The Museum’s home is the Old Town Hall, which, before that, was a grain store. It was built by Thomas Buckley in the late 18th century.
