The Triskel Arts Centre is the place to sample contemporary art in Cork. One of the best community arts programmes in the country features the latest in music, literature, theatre, visual arts and dance. Both both local and international artists are featured. Festivals include the World Book Festival, the French Film Festival and War and Politics, a literary festival. The Triskel Café serves a range of freshly made snacks, including full breakfasts, homemade soup, sandwiches and toasties.
