At only 18 kms the Kerry Head Cycle Way is one of Ireland’s shorter cycle routes. It’s no less worthwhile for that though, curling as it does around the spectacular peninsula cliffs of Kerry Head. The steep terrain can be challenging and low gears are recommended especially with the wind blowing off the Atlantic. The coastal village of Ballyheigue is a good place to refuel and relax with its Blue-Flag beach, golf course and pubs.
