Bram Stoker was born in Dublin in 1847, and Dracula, published 1897, is his most famous work. In fact, it’s probably the most famous horror story ever told, inspiring thousands of others. The Bram Stoker Dracula Experience brings to life the man, the novel, and the horror films it inspired, around 200 at the last count. Visitors are taken deep into Castle Dracula, with its blood-soaked walls, rushing bats, and torture chamber, where they can be scared witless. The museum was opened in 2003.
