South Leinster Way

The South Leinster Way runs from Kildavin in County Carlow to Carrick-on-Suir in County Tipperary. On its 102 km journey it heads up to the slopes of Mount Leinster and down to Graiguenamanagh, the valley of the monks. Other highlights include forest trails, fine views of the ancient city of Kilkenny, the beautiful towpath of the River Barrow and lonely ruins in empty landscapes. Towns and villages on the route include Borris, Tinnahinch and Inistioge.
