Jameson’s Distillery is one the largest in the world. Guided tours of this 230-year-old building offer an incredible insight into Whiskey, or Uisce Beatha, as it’s known in Irish, literally meaning water of life. En route, the history and secrets of whiskey making in Ireland are revealed. At the end of the tour, the results can be sampled in the Jameson Bar. Further refreshment is available in The Still Room Restaurant, which also serves a choice of contemporary dishes.
