Nenagh Heritage Centre is housed in a building that has also been a jail and a convent. Both are well represented in this museum, with a replica of a schoolroom, complete with a model of a nun, and a replica of the jail among the attractions. Others remnants of the jail include the cells and the tiny exercise yard. The Heritage Centre also has a recreated drapers shop, pub, a dairy with butter-making demonstrations and a gallery.
