The Nenagh Cycelway follows 22km of quiet country lanes and tracks from Nenagh to Dromineer. Highlights include Nenagh’s ruined castle and views of the picturesque Nenagh River and the Arra Mountains. The lakeside harbour of Dromineer is a worthwhile goal with its ruined castle reflected in the lake’s blue waters. The Nenagh Cycleway is mostly flat and traffic free with only a few steep climbs. Long-distance cyclists can hook up with the Lough Derg Cycleway near Dromineer.
