National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts and History
Collins Barracks, Benburb Street, Dublin 7 - Ireland

Map

The Decorative Arts and History collections of the National Museum are housed in Collins Barracks, and the neo-classical complex is worthy of attention in its own right. Inside, the military theme continues with the exhibition titled Soldiers and Chiefs The Irish at War at Home and Abroad 1550-2001. Other collections include furniture, silver, ceramics and glassware, with the Fonthill Vase, an extremely rare Chinese vase, and the William Smith o’Brien Gold Cup among the highlights.
