The National Library of Ireland is the best place in the world to find out about this fascinating country. The largest collection of Irish material in the world includes books, manuscripts, prints, drawings, photographs, newspapers and music. A good deal of space is taken up by the acclaimed Yeats Exhibition, Yeats: the Life and Works of William Butler Yeats. The Library shop sells books, pamphlets, historical documents, CDs and postcards. The library, founded in 1877, is a research library not a lending library.
