Murvagh Beach

Murvagh Beach is a long shallow beach ideal for children. A kilometre of sand banks slows the incoming tide so that the water is barely waist deep for much of the day. In addition, the 2km beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag, indicating that it has met the highest standards for water quality and safety and it’s lifeguard patrolled in summer. Behind the beach are sand dunes, designated a Special Area of Conservation, and beyond them lies the lovely Murvagh Forest, which has trails and picnic tables.
