Dunfanaghy Beach is a popular rural beach. It’s in front of one of the few places in Ireland where Corncrake can still be heard calling. These sand dunes are also home to a host of other plant and animal life. The beach itself is a broad sheet of sand, very popular with locals. It’s also clean and safe with a Blue Flag award to prove it. Activities on offer on or near the beach include windsurfing, walking, golf and tennis.
