Lissfannon Beach
Buncrana, County Donegal - Ireland

Map
Lough Swilly is a long passage of nearly land-locked water squeezed between the Inishowen Peninsula and the main landmass of County Donegal. Lisfannnon Beach lies on its eastern shore. It’s very popular, and it’s easy to see why, with its golden sweep of sand, wonderful views across Lough Swilly and, nearby, heritage wetlands and native woodland. Awarded the European Blue Flag, it’s also clean and safe with lifeguards on duty during summer afternoons.
