Limerick’s gardens, warmed by the Gulf Stream, represent an incredible diversity of plants and styles. The Limerick Garden Trail takes in seven of the best. Many have received National Gardening Awards or they have featured in gardening magazines or on TV. In addition, the gardens are located in some of County Limerick’s most beautiful scenery. Highlights include Knockpatrick’s three-acre spring garden overlooking the Shannon Estuary and Ballynacourty’s fine garden rooms. Most of the gardens are open daily from May to October.
