Lambert Puppet Theatre and Museum
Clifton Lane, Monkstown, County Dublin - Ireland

Map

This is probably Ireland’s best puppet theatre, creating and presenting its own productions and also hosting productions by visiting puppet companies. The Theatre was founded in 1972 by Eugene Lambert, who, for 20 years worked for Irish Television Channel RTE, creating some of its most successful children’s programmes. They included Carta Hudai and Wanderly Wagon. Lambert Puppet Theatre and Museum hosts the annual International Puppet Festival and there’s a shop selling finger puppets, hand puppets, marionettes and much more.
