Map

The Dolphin Trail is a self-guided tour of all things Dolphin-related in Kilrush. Marker posts for the trail start in Kilrush’s Market Square and then head for the Millenium Park and sculptor Danny Osbourne’s statue of a dolphin and calf. Also on the trail is the waterside Aylevaroo Point, the best spot from which to see the River Shannon’s famous bottlenose dolphins. Other stops include KIlrush’s picturesque Marina and Shannon Dolphin and Wildlife Centre, where visitors can find out even more about Dolphins.
