This is an award-winning one-acre garden beneath Slievenamon Mountain. Water plays a big part here. A mountain stream runs into a large pond before flowing through banks of water-loving plants and exotic ferns. Other attractions include plenty of rare plants, a scree bed, a heather bed, lawns, and a ruined 16th-century church. The garden opens for a couple of days in the summer and at other times by prior appointment. Discounts are offered for groups and children are free.
