Kells Blue Flag Beach is on the world-famous Ring of Kerry, and it offers a worthwhile detour from the road. A clean sandy beach, rich in flora and fauna, with breathtaking views of Dingle Bay and the mountains beyond, it is both a Special Area of Conservation and a Natural Heritage Site. Nearby, golf and horse riding are on offer and there’s also a pretty harbour not far away. There are no lifeguards on Kells Beach.
