The Irish Palatines are descendants of Germans who settled in Ireland in 1709. The Irish Palatine Society was founded in 1989 to preserve their cultural heritage. This is the Society’s museum. It details their departure from Rheinland-Pfalz in Germany and their way of life in Ireland. Their contributions to Irish farming and world Methodism are also explored. The Museum has a tearoom, a gift shop, and outside, landscaped grounds.
