Inis Fraigh - the heather island - is a small landmass close to the shore between An Clochán Liath and Ailt an Chorráin. Now once again inhabited after having been abandoned in the 1970s, it’s a friendly welcoming place. Highlights include an abundance of wild flowers and animal life, an ancient mass rock and lots of peace and quite. This is a Gaeltacht - Irish speaking - Island. Charter boats leave for the islands from Burtonport Pier.
