Gleninchaquin Park is an award-winning park and farm stretching across the long narrow floor of a beautiful coombe valley. From the valley’s wall a 140-metre waterfall plunges into a lake below, which in turn feeds a necklace of other jewel-like lakes. The peaks of McGillicuddy Reeks are never far away. Visitors can follow the mountain passes, woodland walks and nature trails or walk to the waterfalls. Picnickers are welcome, but home-baked refreshments are also available. There are six short walks and nature trails suitable for children.
