Galway’s greyhound stadium has been redeveloped, and it now offers a varied day out. As well as racing into the night, there’s a restaurant with panoramic views of the track, a trendy bar with direct access to the terrace and bookmakers, and live entertainment. Other facilities include inter-track and table-service betting. Race meetings are usually held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays nights. Masters Restaurant is very popular and advance booking is essential.
