Fota House
Carrigtwohill, County Cork - Ireland

Map
Fota House is a former Regency hunting lodge set in the beautiful landscape of Fota Island. Although in the midst of an ongoing restoration project, there’s already plenty to see and do. Visitors can wander through the richly decorated rooms. In each, they can stop to watch the audio-visual displays that bring the past of this 19th-century house back to life with stories from the people who worked and lived here. Architectural highlights include the faux-marble entrance hall, the plasterwork in the dining room and the servants’ quarters.
