This museum is one of South Tipperary’s most popular attractions. Housed in a former railway station, it specializes in transport, in all its forms, with 1200 exhibits displayed. Highlights include a unique collection of prams and bicycles, with penny-farthings, boneshakers and tandems, horse-drawn carriages and hearses. Other attractions include folk and farm exhibits and other curiosities such as the racing scales once used at the now closed Cashel racecourse. There’s also a picnicking area and a playground, and events include collectors markets and car boot sales
