One of the few city gardens in Dublin open to visitors, Fairfield Lodge and its garden bring a rare and rich mosaic of colour suburbia. A white garden, a yellow garden and a formal garden are backlit by a pale pink house. The unusual lodge dates from 1790. Other colour comes with the herbaceous borders, old-fashioned roses, vibrant climbers and immaculate sweeps of green lawn. Fairfield Lodge admission price includes tea and coffee.
