The River Camac splutters across Corkagh Park through ponds, canals, mill ponds, underground streams and stone bridges. They reprseent 200 years of modifications to its course, and they are a reminder of the River’s name – Camac means crooked. Today, these water features are a picturesque addition to large sweeps of flat grassland. Even more scenic treats are provided by the foothills of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains in the distant.
