Cork Vision Centre in the heart of the city’s historic centre traces the city’s journey from monastic settlement to Ireland’s second city. Highlights include the City Within A City, a detailed and accurate model of Cork City, and the museum’s home, a former church with a now fully restored vaulted ceiling. Events include exhibitions of paintings, photography and textiles, family workshops, recitals and lecture series. The Cork Vision Centre is managed by Cork Civic Trust.
