Clonea Strand is popular for its broad sweep of golden sand, its wonderful views of Dungarvan Bay and its coastal walks. In fact, it’s often described as the prettiest beach in County Waterford. A Blue Flag beach, nearly a mile long, it’s also clean and safe, with lifeguards patrolling in summer. Camping and caravan parks are nearby and a restaurant hotel serves meals and refreshments. Clonea is on the famous Copper Coast Drive.
