Map
The Chester Beatty Library illuminates the world’s artistic and theological traditions through two permanent exhibitions, Artistic Traditions and Sacred Traditions. Highlights include important biblical papyri, such as some of the earliest copies of the gospels, a remarkable collection of Qur’an manuscripts and scrolls, and exquisite illuminated manuscripts. Don’t forget to visit the unique gift shop, which sells postcards, jewellery, posters and other items inspired by the Museum’s collection. Similarly, the Silk Road Café serves meals inspired by the traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean.
