Established in 1999, Cavanacor Gallery has established a remarkable reputation in a short period of time. It has already shown the work of some of the leading artists in Ireland and in the world. They have included Hughie O’Donoghue, Arno Kramer and Sean Fingleton. Six exhibitions a year are held here. The Gallery’s home is a handsome 17th-century mansion, once the ancestral home to former US President, James Knox Polk, and the place where James II dined in 1689.
