Cashel has Ireland’s most spectacular ecclesiastical site - The Rock of Cashel. The town’s award-winning heritage centre is the place to find out all about it as well as the town’s many other attractions. Visitors can also see a collection of 17th-century Royal Charters, an interesting model of Cashel in the 1640s, and a multimedia presentation. The centre also has a shop full of local crafts, such as Rossa Pottery and Winnie Looby textiles, and books. Speciality foods are also available.
