This former church has been restored and transformed into a heritage centre. The history of Carrick-On-Suir as a thriving market town is presented through local artifacts, ranging from the domestic to the industrial. Among them, school slates, willow baskets and a fine collection of 17th-century church plate. Outside, there’s a pre-reformation burial site with interesting gravestones including that of Dorothea Herbert, who wrote Retrospections, which was first published in 1929.
