This is Ireland’s first pub brewery. First founded in the 1880s, Biddy Early Brewery was reopened in 1995 and the old brewery skills were revived. All beers here are produced organically, and they contain no artificial colourings or preservatives. Guided tours and a visitor centre shows how that’s done, with the help of an audio-visual display also telling the story of Biddy Early, the Clare woman who first founded the brewery. Visitors can also taste the Brewery’s award-winning beers and buy souvenirs.
