This open-air musuem has a traditional farm, a picture gallery, a Norman motte, and an ancient church and holy well. There’s also a fascinating indoor museum housed in a converted 18th-century hayloft. Exhibits range from lace, embroidery and costumes to old farm records and accounts. Nextdoor is the old dairy where antique dairy equipment and domestic items are on display. Ballymore also has tearooms and plenty of children’s play areas. Maps are provided.
