Abbey Mills are home to an award-winning craft shop, a coffee shop, a museum and two restored waterwheels. Other highlights include views of the Erne Estuary and Atlantic Ocean, Irish contemporary crafts on sale and homemade ice cream and cakes. The museum covers the history of the Medieval Cistercian Order. The museum was created and the mills restored by the Abbey Mill Restoration Project as part of an attempt to bring back to life Ireland’s 12th century heritage.
